Greetings from the East,
Allow me to begin by expressing my sincerest appreciation for being elected your Worshipful Master for 2025. It is a privilege and an honor to serve the brothers and families of Wyandotte Lodge No. 3! This would have never been possible without the support of the officers, brothers and loved ones of Wyandotte though the tail end of my military career, to include an overseas assignment. Words cannot express how truly grateful I am to each and every one of you! Thank you!
I am so very excited for this year! Full disclosure; as most of you already know I will be attending the Department of the Army Civilian Police Academy this year and that will unfortunately require a temporary absence during my administration, however, we are extremely fortunate to have an amazing line of dedicated and knowledgeable officers, brothers and family members, so I am confident Wyandotte will flourish and everything will run flawlessly.
My vision for this year is simple… I would like to see more brothers and their families in attendance at our lodge functions. I know and understand as much as anyone, life can sometimes be hectic. My plan is to try and create opportunities within the lodge and community for our brothers and families to gather and enjoy fellowship as somewhat of a getaway from life’s hecticness. Some of my most cherished memories with Wyandotte have been of our family-oriented events such as pancake breakfasts, chilly dog cook-offs, sporting events and barbeques. With the assistance of the lodge officers, appendant bodies, and family members of Wyandotte, I am hoping to have more functions like these for us all to enjoy one another’s fellowship.
In conclusion, I can confidently say that 2025 will be an amazing year because this line is filled with some extremely dedicated brothers who truly understand the obligation, we all took. Also, having a lodge filled with brothers and their loved ones who are always ready and willing to assist where needed will create the perfect environment for a successful year. Wyandotte Lodge No. 3 has become my extended family and I am truly grateful to be here! Thank you all for your dedication and support!
I leave you with this quote…
“The secret of Masonry, like the secret of life, can be known only by those who seek it, serve it, live it. It cannot be uttered; it can only be felt and acted. It is, in fact, an open secret, and each man knows it according to his quest and capacity. Like all things worth knowing, no one can know it for another, and no man can know it alone.”
